Customer Review: Finally took the plunge
Since purchasing my 30D I have been interested in getting this grip.
Finally took the plunge and bought this about 1 month ago and couldn’t be happier. The convenience of having an extra battery while shooting is great.
Seems to blend in very well with the stock body.
I’ll agree with the other reviewers that and AF-on button would be nice but its not a huge deal.
I can see it getting a little heavy down the road but thats something I was prepared for.
Overall very nicely designed and definitely an accessory anyone shooting for long periods should have.
Customer Review: No beef with product…but this is GRAY MARKET…NOT DISCLOSED BY AMAZON
Just rec’d shipment of this product, and it comes with an international warranty, not a USA warranty. NOWHERE on Amazon’s page for this product does it disclose that the product is a gray market item.
I have no objection to the gray market for products, but I DEMAND full disclosure, as B&H does on their website.
I’m a long-time Amazon customer, and have been pleased with their products and service (except for some cell-phone batteries). This is the first Canon photographic product I’ve purchased, and IT MAY BE THE LAST, unless Amazon fully discloses the USA/international status of the product’s warranty.
