According to Canon, the 30D has "compatibility with all Canon EF and EF-S lenses".

How I wish that I could use my Pentax lenses and extention rings on my Canon Rebel dig. No way. Digital extenders for extreme close-up have wireing in them, and are quite expensive, same with the other lenses. Sorry

Yes, Canon EF lenses made for film (and digital) will work with digital, but EF-S lenses made for digital won't work with film cameras.

Hello,
Pretty much all the canon lenses are compatible. I have a rebel 2000 (film), a digital rebel and a 30D and I always switch lenses back and forth. That is one of the major selling points that canon had when it first introduced digital SLR's was that you could use all your old lenses.
