This objective was one of the first targets that Canon released the EOS system in 1987, so it is in production for over 20 years. The quality of this title, this lens is rather high compared to the lenses designed today. It is a metal lens mount and a sturdy plastic body. This is a standard lens EF, which means that it works on any Canon EOS camera, digital or film - which includes digital cameras, such as the recent series Digital Rebel, EOS 10D/20D/30D/40D, and high - end cameras like the EOS 1D and 5D.
