Weddings are stuffed with moments that you would like to capture. These events tell such great stories, from the preparation, to the event proper, and even what happens after. Naturally you would wish to record these memories as perfectly as possible. The world of technology has taken one more step in enabling you to do so. Canon, which is one of the best-known brands in photographic and digital imaging solutions, adds one more member to its repertoire of must-have cameras. The Canon EOS 5D Mark II is the planet’s first compact full frame digital SLR. Drawing from the success of its predecessor the EOS 5D, this model comes packed with a plethora of improvements and further features. All of these upgrades are extraordinary in themselves but let’s not forget the most prominent feature this model has over its predecessors and rivals. The Canon EOS 5D Mark II includes full HD video capture capacity. This new feature is indeed a step-up as it just opened a wider range of probabilities for photographers and filmmakers alike. Its release was celebrated by all sorts of photographers, particularly those specializing in weddings that were once really enamored by the Mark II’s predecessor. Even major motion picture studios, indie filmmakers, and professional videographers think that the 5D Mark II was worth the wait. This camera has colors that are cleaner and have a more film-like quality. Another thing that’s striking about the Mark II is its image sensor which enables the user to shoot quality photos even in lowlight conditions. This certainly will be useful for taking marriage pictures and videos where you would wish to capture the people as naturally as practicable. Videographers can take candid shots of the couple dancing or of the people interacting at the reception without the bright lighting that most cameras have. The camera also comes with an auto Lighting Optimizer, which permits the users to automatically adjust the dark areas in a photograph. It also comes with a feature that equalizes the brightness in the image, leading to a more superb picture. The Mark II also includes a good selection of lenses that even the beginner filmmaker can use to make a more attracting story-telling experience. It’s no wonder that photographers and video artists alike are obsessed by this camera. Having the ability to switch from stills to live video is great practice of their creative flexibleness. It indeed opens more doors and creates new possibilities for them to share their story. With this technological advancement, couples can begin to expect more fantastic and superb quality from their wedding videos. Wedding videos that are well captured are mementos that can be shared and viewed for many years, and getting it right the 1st time is crucial to ensure the quality of the videos will be maintained throughout the years. Using this Canon camera with its HD video capture capacity will make sure the videos still look good regardless of how much time has passed since the marriage day.
Wedding videos that have been properly done will be something that you will prize all the way through your marriage. Badly produced ones will only remind you every time you watch it that you should have hired a competent professional to do the job. Finding a real professional that uses state of the art equipment to capture your wonderful day can be quite overwhelming. Have a look at our clients great

Another morning, another train to London for another Canon camera launch. This becomes a sort of habit. But at least it's a bit 'late in the day that I can avoid the rush of commuters in the morning. A country boy, I can be, but this does not mean that I feel like cattle on the road to market. Indeed, the trip this morning was very pleasant.
I started as many do, with a taxi at the station. We were all there, sitting in the passenger seat next to a complete stranger. You do not want to appear rude and spend the entire journey in resolute silence, but do not know anything about this person next to you, then how can you start the conversation? Inevitably, the same stream of chestnut, you're starting or finishing your ride? "Or" right busy? "Or that not all Failsafe-time favorite of British travelers' time is this terrible? "
This morning, however, the conversation was free from arising when the driver asked where I was. After I explained the reason for my trip to London, followed a lengthy discussion on the state of the camera market today. My chauffeur was obviously well informed. He asked if the increasing popularity and the quality of camera phones has had an effect on sales of camera, so we talked about compact cameras than the camera-phones, cameras, compact SLR contrast, stills photography versus video, DVD cons of hard disk recording and even Betamax against VHS. The conclusion we have drawn is that the most successful players in one of the electronics market today are those that were able to adapt, the producers, rather than hiding our heads in the sand hoping that the latest developments in the hi — tech world will pass and leave their little corner untouched, embrace new technology offerings and incorporate them into their product portfolio. And 'this thought that I currently have in my head as the Suffolk countryside passing outside the train window.
One can not deny, Canon are a success. With other brands, not only have excelled in film, photography based on traditional past, but have adapted and in many cases led, the transition to a sector which is now almost completely digital. However, it is also fair to say that this is a time that Canon has launched a reflex, which has forced photographers to sit down and consider what they do. This launch could be very important to them. I, like many, have my suspicions that this new model might be, and if that is what we think it is, then it is a model that was planned a long time Canon SLR user to exist and those looking to invest in an EOS system alike. So it will be what we think it is, and, perhaps more importantly, has demonstrated the ability to evolve with the changing world of Canon digital photography?
If their headquarters in Woodhatch is all to follow, Canon are evolving well, thank you very much. The building, which seems to be almost entirely of glass and wood, is in itself inundated with technological advances. The solar panels on the roof can produce enough electricity to light 50 homes and the computer-controlled shutters open and close to maintain the internal temperature. Lighting adaptable according to the levels of ambient light and turns off automatically if there is nobody in the region. In short, Canon's Home United Kingdom is a masterpiece of technology. What better environment to launch their latest offer hi-tech?
After the pre-requisite coffee and snacks, it's time to meet the new arrivals. It is of course Canon's replacement for the now a bit 'long-in-the-tooth EOS 5D. Despite the rumors, this is not the EOS 7D, but a little 'more directly appointed Canon EOS 5D Mark II.
With an incredible 21. 1 mega pixels, the resolution of the 5D Mk II is a massive 65% more than its predecessor. 21. 1 million pixels. It's nearly 1 pixel for every person in Australia. Other improvements include a marked 3. 0 display ", 3. 9 frames per second shooting, improved image of the cleaning system, Live View and increased ISO range (ISO100-6400, expandable to ISO 50-25,600). In addition, the new Canon EOS 5D Mk II contains the latest Canon DiG! C 4 processor, the original 5D uses the DiG! C 2.
This is not surprising that there are so many improvements, the Canon EOS 5D Mark II has been a long time to come! Keep in mind that at the time of its launch, the original 5D is the next model up from the EOS 20D. Since then we have had the 30D, then 40D and 50D, more recently, including the Canon EOS 5D Mk II is now over.
However, without a doubt one of the boldest moves with Canon Canon EOS 5D Mark II is the inclusion of a Full HD 1920×1080p at 30 fps video capture. If successful, both in real life as it does on paper (we had no right to try at launch), then this is a great addition to a remarkable machine. The movie mode is activated by pressing the "set" button in the center of the rear wheel control. Press once to register and again to stop, just died. But to avoid the movie mode is accidentally activated, you need to activate the menu and can be used with Live View.
When you play with, I'm sorry, new toy trials Canon, it becomes obvious that the Canon 5D Mark II is probably the more appropriate title for this new EOS. It is so similar to the original model, its use will become second nature to any owner 5D. Of course, there have been some minor changes in the layout of function keys, especially to accommodate new, and the Canon Mark II had the same level of sealing 50D was given, but it still looks and feels like the original 5D. If, in fact, that the people of Canon wanted to point out to me that the new version is exactly the same size and weight as the old model. I would have expected more than 8,300,000 pixels would have added something, but no, not a sausage.
Following hot on the trail of the Canon EOS 50D is the case, it is really shocking, not that the Canon 5D Mark II camera that shares a lot of progress. Sealing and Live View has already been said, but the Canon EOS 5D Mark II is also the Quick Start menu found on the 50D, which allows the user to change shooting settings with ease. Bearing in mind the Pro / semi-pro market that this device is intended to be, this installation may be more useful on the Canon 5D Mark II on the 50D.
It 'something I've noticed the EOS 50D for most, it is fair that I give as a little' bad for the Canon 5D Mark II, but the difference is less stable spec-mate, the new Eos does not share the range of its predecessor accessories. While the cells from 50D and 40D with the grip, the owners of the original 5D is having to replace batteries and handles existing EOS 5D Mk II is the new LP-E6 battery grip BG-E6.
I would have liked to take pictures with the new baby Canon, to include in this article, but unfortunately, it was finally impossible. I had just taken a Compact Flash card from my pocket than I was almost jumped by more people hustle and future Canon Pro Guy Mike gave me a look usually seen only on the guidelines Victorian and Pre agents menstrual flow. I put the card in his pocket and backed slowly.
However, Canon had hired a professional photographer and writer, Damien Lovegrove. Weddings are a specialty of Damien and through a shooting in the studio with a model that requires a wedding dress, Damien was able to demonstrate the effectiveness EOS 5D MkII. One thing that was clearly taken by the low image noise, something that has superbly demonstrated by the shooting of his model of ISO 6400 in a dimly lit corridor. The level of detail and lack of noise in shadow areas was superb, but as I am allowed to shoot some pictures to show, you have to take my word.
Perhaps the most telling statement this camera is present when the event was over, I approached Damien and ask some questions to him. Among other things related to the ability of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II for its field of photography (the answer was "very much"), Damien asked if the new Canon EOS 5D Mark II would be a good back-up camera Photos for Pro Photographers using Canon 1D and 1Ds range of camera.
"No," he said, 'It's better. "
High praise indeed.
